ZACH BROWN WAS THE LEADING SCORER AFTER THE INITIAL PERIOD WITH FOURTEEN POINTS. SHANNON PLAYED HARD OFFENSIVELY AND DEFENSIVELY TO KEEP FLIGHT 713 CLOSE DURING THE FIRST PERIOD.A COUPLE OF GUYS DID NOT PLAY THE DAY BEFORE AND SHANNON SHORTER BENEFITTED FROM THE REST. HE SEEMED A STEP QUICKER THAN EVERYONE FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE GAME. ZACH BROWN PLAYED THE DAY BEFORE BUT REMAINED TO BE A TOP PLAYER IN THE SECOND PERIOD AS WELL. CHRIS WILSON BEGAN TO RISE OFFENSIVELY AND REBOUND OCCASIONALLY IN THE SECOND HALF. FLIGHT 713 RAN EVERYTHING THROUGH SHANNON AND HE WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY ON THIS DAY. THE GAME WAS TIED AT SEVENTY ONE WITH SECONDS REMAINING AND SHANNON CONVERTED A THREE POINTER THAT COOZ ELITE WAS UNABLE TO RECOVER FROM.

DOWN BY TEN AT HALF, FROST TOWN RECOUPS TO STAY UNDEFEATED

MARQUEZ LETCHER WAS THE GAME MVP FOR FROST TOWN THE DAY BEFORE AND LED THE GAME WITH NINE POINTS AFTER ONE PERIOD. JAMAAL JERSEY THORPE WAS A NEWCOMER TO SHO TIME FOR 2021 BUT SCORED AND REBOUNDED VIGOROUSLY IN THE BEGINNING PERIOD. JACOB WILEY BECAME A FOCAL POINT IN THE SECOND PERIOD PARTIALLY FOR HIS SCORING BUT MAINLY BECAUSE OF HIS DEFENSIVE PRESENCE. OLIVER LAFAYETTE TOOK OVER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME WITH THREE MADE THREE POINTERS. MARQUEZ LETCHER AND OLIVER LAFAYETTE WERE THE TOP PLAYERS IN THE THIRD PERIOD AS WELL. SHO TIME HAD CONTROLLED THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME AND ACQUIRED A SEVEN POINT LEAD ENTERING THE FOURTH PERIOD. SAM SHIVERS PLAYED WELL IN THE FINAL PERIOD AS HE DID IN GAME ONE FOR SHO TIME THE DAY BEFORE. MARQUEZ LETCHER, THOUGH, WAS STILL TOO MUCH FOR HIS OPPONENT AND SCORED NINE POINTS, ALL FROM BEHIND THE ARC, IN THE FOURTH PERIOD TO HELP FROST TOWN COMPLETE THE COMEBACK.

AFTER MULTIPLE HEAD FAKES, AARON CLINCHES GAME AT BUZZER

ANDREW HARRISON HAD TWENTY NINE POINTS IN THE FIRST GAME OF WEEK ONE. IT TOOK HIM A WHILE TO GET STARTED IN THAT PARTICULAR GAME AND HE SCORED MOST OF HIS POINTS LATE IN THAT GAME. ON THE CONTRARY, HE HAD AN EXCELLENT START TO THIS GAME. HE SCORED, REBOUNDED, AND PASSED THE BALL FLAWLESSLY. JERRRAN YOUNG WAS THE LEADING SCORER AFTER ONE PERIOD WITH EIGHT POINTS. AARON HARRISON PICKED UP THE PACE IN THE SECOND PERIOD MAKING TWO THREE POINTERS FOR THE DEFENDERS. SHAQ BURRELL, WHO DID NOT PLAY THE DAY BEFORE, WAS AWESOME IN THE SECOND PERIOD FOR COMPETITIVE CHOICE. HE DROPPED DIMES, SCORED WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED ITSELF, AND REBOUNDED INSIDE WITH THE BIG GUYS. THE DEFENDERS HAD A SLIM LEAD AT HALFTIME. DERRICK GRIFFIN OUTHUSTLED COMPETITIVE CHOICE TIME AND TIME AGAIN IN THE THIRD TO HELP THE DEFENDERS RECEIVE SECOND SHOT OPPORTUNITIES ON THEIR OFFENSIVE POSSESSIONS. EDEN EWING WAS INCREDIBLE IN THE PICK AND ROLL DEPARTMENT IN THE THIRD. HE SHOWED RANGE ALSO BY CONVERTING A THREE POINTER AND REBOUNDED THE DEFENDERS MISSED SHOTS. BRETT SCORED WELL INSIDE FOR COMPETITIVE CHOICE DURING THE FOURTH PERIOD AND WAS A PEST ON DEFENSE. AARON HARRISON HAD THE BALL IN THE FINAL SECONDS OF AN H TOWN CLASSIC AND CALMLY SANK A THREE POINTER FROM THE LEFT WING AREA. GAME OVER!!!

BRANDON SWANNEGAN HAD AN UNRELENTING FIRST PERIOD OFFENSIVELY AND DEFENSIVELY AFTER COMPILING EIGHTEEN POINTS AND EIGHTEEN REBOUNDS THE DAY BEFORE. KENNARD PICKED UP WHERE HE LEFT OFF THE DAY BEFORE ALSO AND LED HIS TEAM IN SCORING AFTER THE INITIAL PERIOD. KENNARD HAD TALLIED THIRTY SEVEN POINTS THE DAY BEFORE AND WAS THE SECOND LEADING SCORER IN THE LEAGUE ENTERING DAY TWO OF WEEK ONE. WILLIAM LOYD MADE TWO THREE POINTERS IN THE SECOND PERIOD TO HELP THE HOUSTON FLIGHTS TAKE A SEVEN POINT LEAD AT HALFTIME. MAINEJER GREEN SCORED TWENTY SIX POINTS IN THEIR NARROW LOSS AGAINST THE DEFENDERS. HE STARTED THIS TYPE OF SCORING ONCE AGAIN IN THE SECOND PERIOD. NO PASS GREEN CONTINUED TO SCORE IN REPETITION AGAINST THE HOUSTON FLIGHTS IN THE SECOND HALF BUT HAD VERY LITTLE HELP. HENRY THE HERO WAS UNABLE TO SCORE IN GAME ONE OF THE SEASON AND STILL HAD NOT SCORED FROM THE FIELD IN THE FIRST HALF OF GAME TWO. HE MADE HIS FIRST SHOT FROM THE FIELD IN THE THIRD PERIOD AND THAT IGNITED THE FRYING PAN. HE SCORED ALL BUT ONE OF HIS THIRTEEN POINTS IN THE SECOND HALF TO KEEP THE HOUSTON FLIGHTS UNDEFEATED.

DEMARCUS GATLIN CAME IN ENERGIZED FOR HIS FIRST GAME WITH GRIND FOR MINE. HE WAS THE MAIN REASON THAT THEY HAD A TWELVE POINT LEAD AFTER ONE PERIOD. ELSTON TURNER JR WAS MOB TIES TOP PLAYER IN GAME ONE. HE LED THE TEAM IN THE FIRST PERIOD AGAIN. MARCUS SCORED WELL IN GAME ONE AND WAS THE LEADING SCORER IN THE SECOND PERIOD OF GAME TWO WITH NINE POINTS. CALEB LEDOUX PASSED THE BALL EXTREMELY WELL IN THE SECOND PERIOD WITH THREE ASSISTS AND ALSO MADE A THREE POINTER. REX BAXTER WAS ABLE TO SCORE AFTER REBOUNDING A COUPLE TIMES IN THE THIRD. ELSTON TURNER SCORED WELL IN THIS GAME ONCE AGAIN AND IS PLAYING IMPRESSIVELY SO FAR THIS SEASON. MARCUS HALL WAS THE LEADING SCORER IN THIS GAME AND HAPPY HE WAS UP BY THIRTY POINTS INSTEAD OF BEING DOWN BY THIRTY THE DAY BEFORE. JOHN GILLON HAD A POSITIVE FOURTH PERIOD FOR MOB TIES BUT THE GAME WAS OUT OF HAND AT THAT TIME.

CHRISTIAN ALAEKWA HAD A SOLID FIRST PERIOD AND HAS BEEN ONE OF THE SHINING STARS SO FAR THIS SEASON FOR THE CELTICS. DREW EDWARDS CAME READY TO PLAY FROM THE BEGINNING WITH TEN POINTS AFTER ONE PERIOD. HE WAS ONE OF THE REASONS HIS TEAM WAS AHEAD BY DOUBLE DIGITS EARLY. THEY CONTINUED THEIR ONSLAUGHT IN THE SECOND PERIOD WITH THE NEW ARRIVAL AARON CASH REPRESENTING TEXAS A&M SCORING THIRTEEN POINTS IN A VARIETY OF WAYS. ADAM KANAFANI SHOT WELL IN THE SECOND PERIOD ALSO MAKING

TWO THREE POINTERS. CALVIN WILLIAMS SHOWED HE WAS NOT PHASED BY THE NUMBER ONE TEAM IN THE SECOND HALF AND BECAME THE CELTICS LEADING SCORER FOR THIS GAME. JORDAN ALLEN MADE FOUR THREE POINT BASKETS

IN THE THIRD PERIOD. JULIAN POWELL SLAMMED THE BALL IN MANY DIFFERENT

WAYS IN THE FOURTH PERIOD TO KEEP STB BREW CREW THE NUMBER ONE TEAM AFTER WEEK ONE.
